Our Core Values (DNA)
A. Christian Development Program (CDP)
The CDP is a structured program designed to help develop every believer towards maturity. It is a local based dicipling and equipping program to support church growth and maturity. The CDP three key areas of concurrent growth are: Bible knowledge (Truth, Ministry Involvement (Responsibility and Personal Development (Character)
B. Personal Discipling
Personal discipling involves taking care of a new Christian and helping him to learn and grow in his Christian faith and prepare him to disciple others.
This takes the form of a one-on-one discipling intentional relationship building, giving pastoral care on a personal basis; teaching, training, mentoring him to a place where he can disciple others.
C. Cell Groups (Connect Groups)
The Cell Structure is the under girding foundation of all other ministries in VFC Jinja, especially the Christian Development Program (CDP) where the three key areas of growth takes place.
Cell Groups is the engine for leadership development and is an intentional strategy designed to implement a God-given Vision.
D. Giving
Giving of our finances is a critical element in the life of a maturing Christian as it is the important expression of a Christian’s love and devotion to God, to God’s people and to God’ kingdom.
The tree aspects of Giving include: 10% of our sacred Tithe; our willing offering and our Missions pledge program.
E. Evangelism
This is an intentional effort by the church set out to reach the lost as it is the sole reason why Jesus came to earth and die on the cross of Calvary.
It is the only legacy left behind by our Lord Jesus for His disciples to continue.
F. Church Planting
Planting churches that will plant churches is the core of who VFC Jinja.
There is much intentionality in strategizing and planning to bring these efforts to realization not just within a nation but in all nations.
